Another painting of this beautiful young woman...my niece. At the time of this photo shoot, Taylor was still single and "Waiting" for him to propose! He finally did and they are now very happily married! I'm just bummed that Covid kept me from their October 2020 wedding.
Waiting has been accepted into the 40th Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors 2021 by Juror Pat Dews. In addition, Waiting was chosen to receive The Arthur E. Baker Jr. and Barbara S. Baker Memorial Award by Juror of Awards Matthew Bird.
Waiting has been accepted into the 3rd Annual Women in Watercolor International Juried Exhibition 2022. My painting was one of 220 selected from 1615 entries from 56 countries.
Waiting was selected for inclusion in the St. Louis Watercolor Society's 23rd Annual Juried Exhibition by juror, Randy Hale, and received the first place award.
